The M6 northbound was brought to a standstill after a collision near Stoke-on-Trent on Friday.
National Highways reported that there were delays of up to 90 minutes and a 13-mile queue after a crash between J15 Hanchurch Interchange (Stoke-on-Trent, Newcastle-under-Lyme A500) and J16 Barthomley Interchange (Stoke-on-Trent, Crewe, Nantwich, Chester A500).
