CBRE has promoted Becky Stormer to lead the company’s growing sports sector offering in the UK.
Stormer, who has been with CBRE for more than six years in the firm’s Central London investment properties team, is a semi-professional footballer for Fulham FC.
In her new role, she will be responsible for implementing and delivering the company’s three-year growth plan for the sector, deepening CBRE’s relationships with key clients and leveraging the company’s existing expertise.
Stormer said: “Our clients’ real estate requirements in this space are broad, and there is an increasing focus on how the transformation of their main stadium or sports facility can serve as a catalyst for wider regeneration. Sports will be an integral part of our focus on emerging sectors which offers huge growth potential and this, alongside my personal passion for sports, means I am extremely excited to get started.”
