RESIDENTS at a Poole care home have celebrated London Fashion Week in style.
The Lindsay Bupa Care Home arranged a fashion show for its residents to mark the iconic event.
The home borrowed outfits from Julia’s House, a charity shop in Creekmore, and the residents dressed up in a mix of fabulous gowns, fun costumes and even a wedding gown.
Lauren Steele, home manager, said: “Our fashion show was a roaring success. The residents loved having the chance to dress in fancy outfits and were all extremely excited.
“Others had big smiles on as they watched their friends walk down the catwalk.”
Grant Gould, activities coordinator, added: “I want to thank everyone who took part in our fashion show and a special thanks to Julia’s House for lending us clothes for all residents to enjoy for the day.
“It was great to see their personalities come out in the outfits they chose. It was wonderful to see them all enjoying the day.”
The Lindsay Bupa Care Home welcomes residents in need of nursing or residential care, including those living with Dementia and Parkinson’s.
