Well, this is big.
Earlier this week, it was reported that 5-star forward Caleb Wilson would officially visit the Arkansas Razorbacks this weekend. That trip was set to be a key part of his recruitment, as the Kentucky Wildcats have been viewed as the favorites, but that looming visit to Fayetteville had the potential to shift things in the Hogs’ favor.
Now, the visit is off.
According to 247 Sports’ Travis Branham, Wilson will not visit Arkansas this weekend. It’s not expected to be rescheduled.
If that holds true and Wilson doesn’t visit Arkansas before making his decision, you really have to like the Wildcats’ chances.
It certainly helps that Wilson was at Tuesday’s Champions Classic thriller that saw Kentucky take down the sixth-ranked Duke Blue Devils for the first signature win of the Mark Pope era.
