LEXINGTON, Ky. (WKYT) – The University of Kentucky men’s basketball team (2-0) picked up a 100-72 win over the Bucknell Bison (2-1) Saturday inside Rupp Arena.
Graduate transfer guard Koby Brea led the way for the Wildcats with a game-high 22 points, shooting 7-11 from field goal range and 6-8 from three-point range. He also added six rebounds, two assists and a steal.
Amari Williams, the grad transfer center, has had a double-double in each of his UK regular season games, giving the Cats 13 points and 14 rebounds against the Bison.
Five Wildcats finished in double figures and they had 46 bench points.
The Cats will be tested Tuesday night when they face No. 7 Duke (2-0) in the Champions Classic in Atlanta’s State Farm Arena. The Wildcats and Blue Devils have the late game, which is slated to begin at 9:00 P.M. on ESPN.
