UK heath & beauty retail giant Boots is expanding its childrenswear offer, launching a Maybe Junior clothing collection with singer-songwriter and radio presenter Mollie King.
Boots (which also has the UK license to sell Mothercare products) said the new range follows on from the success of its Maybe Baby range introduced last year and now offers clothing for babies and young children (aged 18 months to 6 years).
Maybe Junior includes 29 “practical and stylish items”, adding to the retailer’s range of fashion-forward kidswear.
The Boots/King collab also includes the Maybe Baby SS25 collection, expanding the existing range to include 60 new styles.
They said both collaborated collections draw on King’s experience of dressing her first daughter “while combining her natural sense of style”.
With the designs prioritising “quality, comfort and practicality”, the combined collections of 89 pieces are priced from £6, and are available exclusively at Boots.
The Maybe Junior line initially launches into 410 stores, while Maybe Baby SS25 will be available in 230 stores across the UK in-store and online.
John Carolan, head of category, Baby at Boots, said: “The highly anticipated Maybe Junior range… has helped us to create a fun, playful collection that will stand out in the market. The first drop was a great success with many items, including the best-selling printed Teddy Jacket, flying off the shelves so we are excited for the next stage in the Maybe Baby journey.”
