Most Black academics setting out on careers feel their pay is not fair, report finds
Black early-career academics in the UK often feel “invisible” despite having increased workloads, according to a new report that explores the experiences of Black academics.
Just under a third (32 per cent) of Black early-career academics (ECAs) surveyed feel their pay is fair and 34 per cent believe their workplace is inclusive, according to a report published jointly by consultancy GatenbySanderson, the Society of Black Academics and the Higher Education Policy Institute (Hepi).
