WACO, Texas (KWTX) – Top Baylor assistant Alvin Brooks III is leaving the Baylor Bears to join the coaching staff at the University of Kentucky, sources tell CBS Sports.

Brooks III has spent the past eight years coaching the bears under Scott Drew who recently rejected an offer from the University of Kentucky to take over for John Calipari, UK’s former head coach of 15 years.
Sources tell CBS Sports Brooks III will be associate head coach under Mark Pope, UK’s new men’s basketball coach.
