Anthropologie is partnering with British sports heritage brand Gola to launch an exclusive collection of leisurewear.
The 34-piece collection that launched Monday “is designed to elevate your everyday with the coolest sweats you’ll ever own to cult-fave sneakers in an only-at-Anthro colourway”.
The brands have worked closely together with Anthropologie saying its customer data showed Gola is very much in demand among its customer base.
That data showed Gola sneakers having already been restocked three times at Anthropologie since February while the brand has been added to shopping carts over half a million times and favourited 21,000 times.
So, what about the collection? It features limited release apparel items, “which are concepted, designed and produced in-house by Anthropologie in partnership with Gola, such as Gola x Anthropologie Runner Cropped Baby Tee in summer-ready shades”.
This first-ever collab also includes two pairs of lace-up ribbon sneakers in two colourways, created exclusively for the retailer.
Anthropologie is on a roll at the moment with owner Urban Outfitters’ recent quarterly results showing it as one of the driving forces of the company as it posted higher-than-expected sales.
And Gola is riding a wave of interest in comfort-focused shoes and clothing as well as heritage sports brands. So the two brands clearly have high hopes for this link-up.
