Wimbledon fans may well be deprived of their usual Princess of Wales sighting this year, given that the patron of the All England Lawn Tennis Club has temporarily stepped away from her public engagements as she continues to focus on her health, but the tournament is already delivering on spectator style.

David Beckham kicked things off on Monday in a custom Boss suit, while former world number one Maria Sharapova wore Burberry to take in the first day of the tournament, which will see top seed Jannik Sinner take on Yannick Hanfmann, and Britain’s Emma Raducanu face Ekaterina Alexandrova. Society girls Olympia of Greece and Poppy Delevingne were spied together in the stands, while Arlo Parks, PinkPantheress and Lucy Boynton were all spotted in the Evian lounge.
