H&M has launched a men’s and boys’ “performance-driven training collection co-developed by global football icon Zlatan Ibrahimović and the design team at H&M Move”.
The collaboration leans on Ibrahimović’s “unparalleled expertise in sports with H&M Move’s commitment to innovation and style, resulting in a collection that embodies strength, performance and fashion”.
It launched internationally on Tuesday.
The company said the sports star “exchanged ideas and feedback on fit and function… during multiple design sessions with H&M Move’s team”, which has led to a collection that “combines technicality and comfort”.
It features a white, off-white, petrol, burgundy and black colour scheme, “advanced trims, strategically placed pockets, dynamic fit and unique logo where the words Zlatan and Move blend graphically together”.
We’re told Ibrahimović’s insights as a professional athlete also “shaped the selection of the high-performance pieces that feature the trademark material DryMove, known for its breathability”.
The collection retails at price points ranging from €14.99 to €34.99 and while it’s technically targeting men and boys only, the company said “girls are welcome too”.
Key pieces include versatile shorts in multiple lengths for various training needs; high-performance training tights available in full-length and a short version; a selection of performance-driven T-shirts and engineered mesh tanks with strategically placed perforation for enhanced ventilation; a track suit in multiple colours; a padded vest with a V-neck closure made with ThermoMove quality; high-length training socks, towels in different sizes and oversized water bottles.
