Australia have named squads for the upcoming white-ball UK tour, which will see the side take on England and Scotland in one-day and T20 fixtures.
After a disappointing exit from the T20 World Cup, the selectors have now given a glimpse into the future ahead of the multi-format overseas tour.
David Warner’s retirement has opened the door for changes, while experienced white-ball players Matthew Wade and Ashton Agar have been overlooked for selection.

Jake Fraser-McGurk, who was controversially left out of the squad recently, has been recalled and will feature in both formats, while young gun Cooper Connolly is in line for an international debut after being selected in the T20 squad.
Pat Cummins will miss the entire tour due to a pre-planned load management strategy, while fellow stars Mitchell Starc and Glenn Maxwell will only play in the ODIs.
“This tour gives us a great opportunity to bring in some new players … as well as giving some senior players time to prepare for the home summer,” George Bailey said.
“We are particularly pleased to offer Cooper his first opportunity in the T20 squad having introduced the likes of Jake [Fraser-McGurk], Spencer [Johnson], Xavier [Bartlett] and Aaron [Hardie] in the past 12 months.
“With the Champions Trophy on our doorstep early next year, the white-ball series against Pakistan leading into the summer and a huge home Test series against India there has been a lot of planning invested into these next six months.
“That has included gradual integration of new players into our white ball squads who have earned international opportunities via excellent form in Big Bash or state cricket.”
Mitchell Marsh will captain both teams as he continues to cement himself as one of Australia’s most reliable stars in all three formats.
The tour will see the Aussies play three T20s against Scotland and England, followed by a five-game ODI series against England in September.
