It was thanks to Kayleigh Barton that Wales came from behind on Tuesday to secure a draw against Sweden.
The team were playing in front of a crowd of 6,077 in Wrexham – a record for a home fixture outside of Cardiff.
Sweden took an early lead, but Wales stayed in the game and equalised in the 76th minute from the penalty spot.
Goal scorer Kayleigh Barton said, “Every game we play we’ve gotten more and more confident, and you can see it’s the first time we’ve ever got a result against Sweden.”
Wales are continuing preparations for Euro 2025, having never previously qualified for a women’s major tournament.
Their next Nations League match is against Denmark on 4 April.
