As the sports year races toward July, tennis fans are starting to get excited for one of the marquee events of the calendar year: the Wimbledon Championships.
The two-week men’s and women’s tournaments, featuring the superstars of the sport on pristine grass courts, will begin on July 1 and conclude on July 14 at All England Lawn Tennis & Croquet Club in London.
While the men’s and women’s event will be loaded with star-studded talent, it won’t be easy for this year’s tournament to one-up Wimbledon 2023.
On the men’s side, Carlos Alcaraz won his first Wimbledon title in thrilling fashion, handing seven-time Wimbledon champ Novak Djokovic his first career Wimbledon finals loss. On the women’s side, 24-year-old Markéta Vondroušová became the first unseeded player to win the ladies singles championship at Wimbledon, stunning No. 6 seed and returning runner-up Ons Jabeur.
Needless to say, the 2024 Wimbledon Championships have a lot to live up to, though this annual historic event never seems to let tennis fans down. Interested in attending one of the most prestigious sporting events in the world? Here’s how to buy tickets.

The 2024 Wimbledon Championships kick off Monday, July 1 and run through for two weeks. The event concludes on Sunday, July 14.
The annual tournament is held at All England Lawn Tennis and Croquet Club in London, England. Wimbledon serves as the third of four Grand Slam tournament events in the tennis season.
The ballot for Wimbledon 2024 has closed, with tickets allocated randomly to those who already submitted applications. For those still hoping find tickets, however, there are a number of other ways.
First and foremost, there is The Queue, in which fans can turn up on the day of an event to purchase tickets. Wimbledon stands as one of the only major sporting events in the world that still reserves box-office tickets for day-of purchasing, a tradition for which the tournament championship has come to be known.
A flat total of 500 tickets will be allocated for each day of tournament play on Centre Court, Court No. 1, and Court No. 2. These are referred to as “Show Court tickets.” Fans can also buy a Grounds Pass, which grants access to the action being played on smaller courts throughout the ticketed day.
Wimbledon also features hospitality options, but they are all sold out for this year’s championships.
If none of these avenues work for you — or you simply don’t want to chance your luck in the queue — tickets for every day of the two-week Wimbledon Championships are available on StubHub.
