With the second week of Wimbledon in full swing, plenty of the world’s biggest stars are flocking to South West London for the pinnacle of the grass court season.
Being one of the biggest sporting events on the calendar, Wimbledon is often set abuzz with celebrity and sporting icons looking to soak up the world-class tennis action, and this year has been no different.
From Paralympic and Olympic champions, to former professional tennis players, actors and actresses and iconic British legends, let’s take a look at some of the famous faces who have taken to the All England Club so far this year.
Olympic and Paralympic champions
The 2024 Olympic and Paralympic Games are right around the corner, but before the summer of sport continues in Paris, some of the most decorated Olympic and Paralympic athletes were invited to attend the Royal Box during the middle Saturday of the Championships.
Former track cyclist and six-time Olympic champion Chris Hoy, fellow cycling greats Jason and Laura Kenny and swimming world record holder Adam Peaty were amongst an illustrious list of stars watching on over Centre Court.
