Prestige menswear brand William Hunt Savile Row is expanding on two fronts: adding to its lifestyle offer and developing its global licensing potential.
After 45 years of “dressing the iconic modern gentleman” in the formal and eveningwear space, the brand has now moved into new categories including underwear, sleepwear, loungewear and footwear.
Adding to its previous expansion into casualwear, leather goods and fragrance, the latest intimates and apparel product developments will be spearheaded by specialist Delta Textiles London, which will create extensive collections of underwear, loungewear and sleepwear.
Meanwhile, UK footwear specialist Chapters Brand Group will add a formal and casual footwear offer. Antony Nathan, Director of Chapters Brands Group said: “A global brand worthy of major sports stars and Hollywood icons, William Hunt is well known for its innovative design and we’re delighted to be part of the journey with the new footwear collection.”
And to achieve its wider ambitions, the retailer has appointment Chris Evans-Pollard, founder of Three60 Brands, to manage all brand licensing activity globally.
Aiming to “bring together carefully selected new partners to strategically extend the brand’s presence as well as overseeing a brand refresh across social and e-commerce”, Evans-Pollard said he will work with the team “to consolidate and expand the brand licensing operations”.
William Hunt said of the agreement: “We are pleased to have appointed Chris to lead our licensing activity and delighted by the success he’s already had in adding two category-leading businesses to our team of partners.”
