Where is Kentucky basketball in updated AP Top 25, new USA TODAY Coaches Poll?
Kentucky basketball went 1-1 last week and moved to 2-6 versus teams in away games.
The Wildcats started last week with a victory over Vanderbilt. They shot 58% from the field, their highest shooting percentage against an SEC opponent this season.
On Saturday, Kentucky lost 96-83 to then-No. 4 Alabama. The Tide is the only team ranked in the AP top 15 that has defeated the Wildcats this season, topping UK twice.
Mark Pope’s Wildcats (18-9, 7-7 SEC) dropped two spots to No. 23 in the latest USA TODAY Coaches Poll on Monday. Kentucky remained at No. 17 in the AP Top 25 Poll on Monday.
Kentucky is scheduled to play Oklahoma on the road at 9 p.m. Wednesday.
