The Aintree Grand National is the biggest race on the calendar bar none.

The highest weight a horse can carry in the Grand National is 11st 12lbs, while the lowest weight is 10st 2lbs.
The Grand National weights are published on Tuesday, 11th February.
This is a vital date as no penalties can be incurred afterwards.
I Am Maximus carried 11st 6lbs off a rating of 159 to victory in last year’s renewal.
