When the Kentucky Wildcats played Oklahoma on Wednesday, they got an exciting, and important, win. However, there was bad news as well. Lamont Butler and Jaxson Robinson returned to the lineup, but Robinson would not finish the game.
On Saturday, the Wildcats play the Auburn Tigers, who are the class of the SEC and the number one ranked team in the country. Unfortunately, they’ll do so without Robinson, who is listed as “out” on the Friday availability report.
In the game against the Sooners, Robinson played, and knocked down a few shots. He exited the game in the first half, and never returned, though. The wrist that forced him to miss multiple games seems as though it’s not quite fully healed.
With Robinson out, Koby Brea, Collin Chandler, and Trent Noah will play more minutes, with the hot hand likely to stay on the court. Butler is set to play, though, and that’s certainly good news. Hopefully Robinson will return soon.
