Good morning, BBN!
Saying that Mark Pope’s start with the Kentucky Wildcats has been successful is an understatement.
He has brought together every member of BBN behind a team that looks like one of the best in college basketball through the first four games of the year.
It was another dominant win last night as the Cats took down Lipscomb, 97-68. Kentucky shot 12/25 from beyond the arc, and Mark Pope said after the game:
“We were good in a lot of areas. We only got up 25 3s. That’s not us. That’s not who we’re supposed to be.”
That’s a pretty funny statement, but it proves that Mark Pope is a basketball psycho in the best of ways.
Kentucky has a recall chance to enter the Clemson game on December 3rd at 7-0, and things will become even more fun when they play No. 3 Gonzaga on December 7th.
This is exactly what BBN needed, and I’m glad everyone is enjoying the ride. Let’s keep it rolling!
