After his team’s debut scrimmage at the Blue-White Preseason Event, Mark Pope held a press conference in Historic Memorial Coliseum to field questions about the Wildcats. With him, Andrew Carr, the scrimmage’s high-scorer, represented the players in the press conference with his takeaways from the game.
Pope shared a piece of news in the conversation, revealing Kerr Kriisa’s injury as a hamstring. Kriisa did not play Friday night. Pope also commented on the biggest news in the sport, Tony Bennett’s surprise retirement.
As for the Blue-White scrimmage, Pope and Carr had plenty to say about the night in front of the fans. Watch a replay of the Q&A if you have fifteen minutes to commit to it.
