We’ve got practice highlights!!
Ahead of Friday night’s The Basketball Tournament opener for La Familia (Kentucky’s alumni team), the current edition of the Wildcats took their shot at the older Wildcats in a 5-on-5 practice setting inside Rupp Arena. UK Sports Video dropped a two-minute video of highlights from the practice, with Mark Pope‘s squad wearing white and Tyler Ulis‘ squad sporting blue.
Among the highlights? A couple of deep Kerr Kriisa three-pointers, Amari Williams cutting for a dunk, an Otega Oweh shot from deep, a couple of tough Collin Chandler layups at the rim, and much more. Kriisa was making plays off screens as the lead guard and we saw a slick pass to the corner from Williams. Jaxson Robinson also hit a pull-up triple and found Travis Perry in the corner for an open look.
There’s plenty more to dissect. Spend your morning breaking down every second of every frame.
La Familia takes on the 305 Ballers this Friday at 8:00 p.m. EST inside Rupp. Tickets are still on sale at thetournament.com/tbt/tickets where a portion of the sales will go towards Kentucky’s NIL efforts. All games will be streamed live on Fox Sports.
