Watch: Israeli air strike hits residential building in Gaza
Israel’s military hit a residential building in central Gaza with two missiles in quick succession on Saturday.
Footage shows a man and a child running for cover as the strike destroys several floors of the apartment block in Nuseirat, an area home to thousands of displaced Palestinians.
Only the mangled concrete structure of the top part of the building remains as thick plumes of grey smoke leak out.
There has been no official comment on the strike by the Israel Defense Forces.
Israeli airstrikes killed at least 21 people in Gaza on Sunday, including six children and their mother, according to authorities in the Hamas-run territory.
The latest bombardments come ahead of a visit to the region by Antony Blinken, the US Secretary of State, to try to finally seal a ceasefire deal after months of contentious negotiations.
