Valentino has opened a temporary new store in Milan, at via Santo Spirito 4. The move comes in the wake of the start of the renovation work at the luxury label’s long-standing Milanese flagship at via Montenapoleone 20.
Valentino’s new temporary space in Milan is located close to the label’s flagship. It extends over 800 square metres on seven floors, the top two home to VIP lounges.
The store showcases the Valentino men’s and women’s collections, the Valentino Garavani accessories line, and the eyewear and perfume lines. It will soon also feature the Pavillon des Folies collection, designed by Creative Director Alessandro Michele.
Within the store’s monochromatic interiors, the collections’ vibrant colours and intricate details are brought to life, in striking contrast to the ivory-hued backdrop.
Clean architectural lines are softened by the materials’ fluidity and lightness, creating an interplay of structure and texture, while the use of draperies reshapes the space. Key mirror elements on the wall and on the platforms enhance the interiors with brightness and light.
