Mitie, the UK’s leading facilities transformation company, is recruiting up to 700 new roles at HMP Millsike in Full Sutton ahead of its opening in 2025 – the first prison in the UK to run solely on electricity, using solar panels and heat pump technology.
HMP Millsike, being built near HMP Full Sutton in East Yorkshire, will be operated by Mitie’s Care & Custody business on behalf of the Ministry of Justice.
There are currently over 350 vacancies open for application at the Category C prison, with more to follow.
Further vacancies will open in the coming months, in a wide range of roles across all levels of experience, Mitie said.
