Businesses that violate work visa rules will be prohibited from hiring employees from other countries, following a new immigration plan that the United Kingdom’s Prime Minister, Sir Keir Starmer, is about to announce.

The PM will tell the Labour Party conference in Liverpool that his government plans to reduce migration as well as the UK’s reliance on international workers, VisaGuide.World reports.

According to a report from the Standard, the body has already been urged to review the impact that international worker visa rules by the previous Conservative government are bringing on the UK’s workforce.

This also includes those employed from abroad being halted from bringing their dependents to Britain and increasing the salary needed to hold a permit.
