UK football player arrested
NELSON COUNTY, Ky. (WKYT) – A UK football player is accused of driving recklessly and possessing marijuana
It happened on the Bluegrass Parkway in Nelson County.
According to an arrest citation, Jordan Lovett, a junior defensive back for UK was arrested on December 30.
The citation says Lovett was racing another vehicle near mile marker 26.
Kentucky State Police caught up to the two vehicles traveling over 110 miles per hour and stopped one of them, driven by Lovett.
Lovett was arrested and released the next day.
His arraignment is scheduled for January 7.
