Uganda Airlines plans to launch an Entebbe-London service before the end of the year.
According to travelnews.africa, the airline has secured landing and departure slots at London Heathrow.
The Uganda High Commission in London made the announcement on Facebook following a series of strategic meetings in London between Uganda Airlines CEO, Jenifer Bamuturaki, UK aviation authorities and the Head of Partnership at British Airways regarding a possible interline agreement.
“The direct Entebbe-London flights will boost bilateral trade and tourism between Uganda and the UK,” says the Facebook post.
