According to research from Expedia, the cheapest days to book an international flight this summer are June 2, June 13 or August 28.
Britons who holiday in June will beat the school summer holiday crowds and have a good chance of scoring a deal.

At the other end of the scale, Britons who wait until August 28 to go away also have a great chance of securing a holiday deal.
British tourists might want to avoid booking a flight on July 22, 23 or 29 as these are the most expensive days for travel according to Expedia’s research.
If you’re looking to book a domestic flight, July 28, August 19 and August 23 have the best prices so far.
June 30, July 8 and July 16 are the most expensive days to book a domestic flight this summer.
Expedia recommends booking an international flight on a Thursday to save 15 percent off the price of a weekend flight.
Morning flights are also generally more likely to avoid cancellations as flights leaving after 3pm are 50 percent more likely to be cut.
Domestic flights are generally cheapest on a Wednesday with prices 20 percent lower than at the weekend.
