First in Service Travel (F1S), which has offices across the US, Canada, Colombia, Mexico, Spain, is opening a UK office on July 1.
The company provides comprehensive 24-hour support to business travel advisors and agents, including ticketing and billing in overseas currencies.
The new UK office is centrally located near Covent Garden and is offering advisors the option to be office based or to work remotely.
It will be headed up by Barry Whittaker, who has previously held senior positions at Global Travel Collection and Travel Leaders. He joined F1S in October 2023.
“Launching F1S in the UK is a significant milestone for us,” said Whittaker.
“We are eager to connect with independent travel advisors and agencies who are passionate about delivering top-notch service to their clients. Our comprehensive support system is designed to let advisors focus on what they do best – taking care of their clients – while we handle the rest.”
Fernando Gonzalez, CEO of First in Service Travel, said UK market presents a unique opportunity.
“We look forward to building strong relationships with travel professionals here,” he added.
F1S UK is actively seeking travel specialists in several key markets:
The group helps travel advisors with full support with IT, travel technology, sales accounting, business development, supplier partnerships, marketing, licensing and bonding (where applicable), and commission tracking.
Earlier this year, F1S joined The Advantage Travel Partnership.
