This is the terrifying moment a fitness trainer is brutally executed outside his house – just months after his wife’s bizarre death.
Dramatic footage showed Giovanny Carvalho, 36, running from the suspect, a 35-year-old off-duty cop, and standing outside his home in Petrolina, Brazil.
Carvalho fell to the ground and could be seen kicking at the gunman as he desperately fought for his life.
He then tried to snatch the shooter’s gun before he appeared to shoot him multiple times across the body and in the back of the head.

The shooter then stood over Carvalho, who was lying face down, and shot him six times in the back of the head.
The cop, who is member of the Pernambuco Military Police, was arrested Tuesday morning at an apartment near where the shooting took place.
Witnesses told CNN Brasil that Carvalho had been romantically involved with the police officer’s wife and that the affair may have provoked the shooting.
‘The accused is a military police officer and, as it is a common and non-military crime, the investigations into the case will be carried out by the Civil Police,’ Pernambuco Civil Police said in a statement.

Carvalho’s execution comes eight months after his wife, Aila Pimenta, 32, died.
Pimenta, who also worked as personal fitness trainer, was electrocuted while removing clothes from a clothesline that was attached next to an air conditioner at the family home.
Carvalho and one of the couple’s three children, a six-year-old daughter, were shocked and treated at a hospital.
The couple were also parents to a one-year-old boy and a two-year-old girl.
