Nigel Twiston-Davies has his team flying along at this early stage of the season and Guy signed off last campaign with a win here. He loves this better ground and has a brilliant record fresh.
YOKELL (2.40 Kelso, nb)
Will be hard to stop for canny Irish trainer John McConnell. He’s booked champ Harry Cobden for the ride and she will be sharper than she was at Warwick last month.
JAFIMGOSO (1.15 Uttoxeter, treble)
Was solid in bumpers and won’t need to improve much over hurdles to take this. Dan Skelton does well at this track and the drying ground will be up his street.
