Temperley London is expanding its lifestyle offering with a move into the lingerie and sleepwear sector “in conjunction with a leading British lingerie company who have extensive experience and expertise in this category”. It didn’t name its new specialist partner.
The company said its new AW24 collection “epitomises founder and creative director Alice Temperley’s luxurious vintage aesthetic and can be styled seamlessly with the brand’s ready-to-wear, evening and bridal collections”.
What does that mean in practice? There’s an initial 16-piece “offering that features slips, as well as robes and “dandy-esque pyjamas.
This is no attempt to diversify the brand into a lower price tier with retail prices being firmly in the luxury sector, ranging from £260 up to £600.
Temperley said those items have been made from “the finest silks and laces, adorned with iconic hand-painted prints and exquisite embroideries”.
The full collection is available globally from this month via selected retailers, as well as in all Temperley London retail stores and on www.temperleylondon.com.
The brand was founded by Alice Temperley in 2000 with a focus on day and eveningwear moved into bridal in 2006. More recently, it added an interiors collection in partnership with Romo in March 2023.
