Just over two years after being acquired by South Korean beauty giant Amorepacific, American natural cosmetics brand Tata Harper has appointed Shay Bennaim as its first global brand president. Bennaim previously served as general manager North America at Le Labo, owned by the Estée Lauder Group. Before that, he spent seven years at Coty, honing his expertise in the beauty sector.
Bennaim’s arrival marks a significant leadership transition as the brand’s founder, Tata Harper, is stepping down from her role as president to become its founding ambassador. According to Amorepacific, “Tata Harper will focus on presenting products to customers and remain a trusted voice in product development.”
Founded in 2010, Tata Harper has carved out a prominent place in the competitive beauty market as a pioneer in premium natural skincare. The brand proudly uses 100% natural-origin ingredients, free of genetically modified organisms (GMOs), and is reported to generate annual sales of approximately $65 million, according to industry sources.
Amorepacific’s acquisition of the brand was a strategic move to strengthen its presence in the U.S., its largest market. In France, Tata Harper is available through select retailers, including Oh My Cream!
