The team gathered data to unveil the most popular countries for Britons to emigrate to between 2022 and 2024.
Researchers looked at Google Search terms including “relocating”, “moving”, and “houses” to reveal the most-searched countries to migrate to.
The research found Canada was the top country to migrate to in 74 countries, more than any other country in the world.
Elsewhere, Australia is the most desired location for Britons to move to, with 412,100 Google Searches.
However, neither of these countries was the most popular with British expats when it came to actually making the move. It turns out the US was where most Britons moved to.
