Supima hosted its 7th annual Supima Design Lab on October 17, at the U.S. Ambassador’s Residence in Paris, France.
Launched in 2017, the Supima Design Lab is an annual fashion exhibition that celebrates talent from around the world across all levels of expertise.
This year’s event brought together twenty-three international designers and emerging talent to showcase their designs crafted from Supima cotton. These designs highlight the endless possibilities of Supima cotton, with a focus on Supima’s commitment to sustainable innovation and superior quality.
Separated into three categories, participants included finalists from the International Festival of Fashion, Photography, and Accessories in Hyères, the Supima Design Competition, and top international designers.
Leading international designers featured in the event included Igor Dieryck, Bianca Saunders, Charles de Vilmorin, CFCL by Yusuke Takahashi, Lukhanyo Mdingi, Torishéju, Victor Weinsanto, and Vincent Pressiat.
From the 38th International Festival of Fashion, Photography and Accessories in Hyères, the finalists included Romain Bichot, Gaëlle Lang Halloo, and Logan Monroe Goff, among others.
Lastly, the event also welcomed winners and finalists from the 2024 Supima Design Competition, which showcased the talents of emerging designers from top U.S. fashion schools, including Emma Foley from Parsons School of Design who took home the top prize.
Other finalists included Henry Hawk (Rhode Island School of Design), Jules Gourley (School of the Art Institute of Chicago), and Mina Piao (Fashion Institute of Technology).
