Want to know how things are going behind the scenes for the Kentucky Wildcats under Mark Pope? Why don’t you ask his right-hand man, assistant coach Cody Fueger?
Following Pope from Utah Valley to BYU, then again to Lexington this offseason, Fueger has been by the head coach’s side since 2013 — 2015 as a full-time assistant. They’re like peanut butter and jelly or peas and carrots, going into their 12th season of college basketball together now at Kentucky.
Fueger joined the Sources Say Podcast to talk about his move to Lexington with Pope, the offensive brilliance they found together in Provo, the program’s recruiting philosophy moving forward and what it means to wear the Kentucky logo at the winningest program in the history of the sport.
