Redfoo – who competed under his real name Stefan Gordy – received a wildcard entry into the competition.
The Sexy And I Know It star was a promising tennis player in his youth.
But he opted for a career in music after sustaining a wrist injury during his teens.
Redfoo put up a decent fight in the hard-court contest, taking a game off the world No. 1299.
But ultimately he was unable to progress after a 6-1, 6-0 loss.
The LMFAO singer uploaded a short clip of a lengthy rally to his 540,000 Instagram fans.
He wrote: “I lost the match but this was my best point.
“Good match and good luck Leyton.”
