Joanne Rayson, age-friendly coordinator of Age UK Carlisle & Eden, added: “Age UK Carlisle and Eden are delighted to be invited for a second year to celebrate International Older Persons Day with the Lanes.
“On the day we will be offering benefits advice, you will be able to sign up for a free Home Energy check, join in a chatter and craft table and we have some winter warmth giveaways.
“We will also have our Rail of Kindness, where you can donate or take an adult’s winter coat.”
