Since last announcing the expansion of their physical association in June, luxury resale platform Sellier has now developed its partnership with high-end retailer Flannels to open another permanent space, this time within its Meadowhall Shopping Centre, Sheffield flagship.
This comes after the “remarkable success” of other permanent concessions in Belfast, Liverpool, and Glasgow.
Sellier initially partnered with Flannels in late 2023 to open two exclusive seasonal pop-ups in Glasgow and Liverpool that have since become permanent fixtures, as well as launching a permanent concession in Belfast in June.
“Historically, major retailers have focused their luxury resale efforts on London, [but] the success of these pop-ups points towards a growing demand for rare luxury in regional parts of the UK”, Sellier said.
The new Sheffield location will showcase a curated selection of rare handbags and accessories from brands such as Chanel, Hermès, Dior, and Louis Vuitton, picked by Sellier’s co-founder Hanushka Toni in collaboration with Flannels.
Toni said:“Join[ing] forces with Flannels for the third time [builds] on the success of last year’s pop-ups and our Belfast concession. This collaboration underscores the growing demand for luxury goods in regional areas and brings attention to the shifting e-commerce landscape, where brands must embrace the importance of brick-and-mortar stores.
“Together, we aim to drive a broader shift toward making luxury more accessible for all, and we’re eager to expand our footprint in the luxury resale market.”
