Ryanair has issued a travel warning for British tourists flying from Stansted Airport on Monday, April 29.
An airline spokesperson said: “Due to a power outage affecting the baggage belt and security screening areas at London Stansted (STN), we are advising all passengers departing from Stansted Airport today to arrive at least three hours before your flight and to proceed straight through to security screening.”
The airline urged customers flying from Stansted to monitor the Ryanair app for updates about their flight.
Passengers can find information about their flight and travel on the Ryanair website or on the app.
If a passenger’s flight is delayed or cancelled, they will be directly contacted by the airline on their number or email.
Overflights are flights that enter French airspace but aren’t landing or taking off in France.
However, these flights are usually affected as well if air traffic control workers go on strike.
easyJet and British Airways also saw their schedules affected by the proposed strike action.
