The recent launch of Phoebe Philo’s latest Edit for her own label underlines how in-demand the British designer’s work is. And with that in mind, ReSee, an online destination for luxury vintage and pre-owned fashion, has announced the second edition of its exclusive ‘Old Céline‘ pop-up sale.
It’s in collaboration with The Archive, which is known for curating Phoebe Philo Céline (now known as Celine, without the accent) pieces.
The event will take place at ReSee’s Paris showroom, 48 bis Avenue Kléber, from September 26 to September 28, “offering the public a rare opportunity to own a piece of fashion history”.
The first edition of the sale was two years ago and the company said it “garnered widespread attention from fashion insiders and devotees”. It also said the “2024 pop-up promises to be even more special. With over 200 pieces, the collection will showcase timeless, celebrated designs from Philo’s tenure at Céline, including the limited-edition Peter Miles Blanket Coat from Fall 2018 and the coveted Clasp Bag”.
We’re told it’s a “celebration of Philo’s visionary craftsmanship that remains as influential today as it was when she first transformed Céline into a global powerhouse of quiet luxury”.
ReSee is a major destination for curated luxury vintage and pre-owned fashion, with pieces from Hermès, Chanel, Céline and more.
It was founded in 2013 by Sofia Bernardin and Sabrina Marshall, from Vogue and Self Service Magazines.
Meanwhile, The Archive is a specific collection of Phoebe Philo Céline pieces, curated by dedicated collector and founder Martina Lohoff, it has a unique selection of runway pieces and limited-edition accessories.
