Ralph Beckett’s ANNIVERSARY heads the betting for this conditions contest after her 16-1 debut success on Newmarket’s July course last month, but that form has not worked out, with the runner-up, third and fourth beaten at odds of 11-10f, 11-8f and 4-5f on their next starts. Throw in the very different ground conditions (now heavy, as opposed to good at Newmarket) and his stall 1 draw (furthest from the likely-favoured stands’ side rail) and he looks one to oppose.
