The great thing about Spreadex is that offers both normal fixed odds betting plus spread betting on horse racing. There are some key differences, of course, between this form of gambling and placing regular fixed odds bets.
Make the right call and punters could win big, but the potential to lose money can be much higher. Intrigued? Then check out this how to spread bet on horse racing guide:
Andrew found well backed 11-2 Kempton scorer HAPPY HADEDA on Friday and has three more recommended bets/trades on Saturday, September 21st…
SIR BUSKER came from midfield when landing a 17-runner handicap at York last month but looked flattered by taking the inside route from a favourable low draw (first four drawn 8, 6, 4 and 3 of 17). The low-drawn fourth and seventh have both finished well beaten since and while Theme Park, eighth from stall 1, score at Pontefract the other day he was dropping from Class 2 to Class 4 level. Sir Busker is up in class to Listed level here and his patient style is unlikely to be ideal given the forecast tailwind in the straight and the lack of out-and-out front-runners. I can see William Knight’s eight-year-old finishing out of the frame and he can be sold in the Spreadex 50-25-10 market.
Recommendation: Oppose SIR BUSKER in Ayr 1.50
I was waiting hoping that QUIETNESS – a multiple winner from the front on fast ground – would be withdrawn on account of the deep going, as this now leaves the way clear for Karl Burke’s BOLSTER to make all. The four-year-old never saw a rival when making a winning stable debut in a soft-ground 1m2f handicap at Pontefract back in April and followed up at Epsom’s Derby meeting on officially good to soft going just under six weeks later. Group 3 company proved too tough at the Curragh next time, but he certainly wasn’t disgraced in fourth place behind subsequent St Leger victor Jan Brueghel. Good ground and the drop to 1m were against him in the Group 2 Summer Mile at Ascot in July but he’s been freshened up since and now returns to handicap company with the ground in his favour. The Burke yard could be in better form, but he now looks the sole pace in the race and could prove hard to pass. Buy in the Spreadex 50-25-10 market or take a fixed odds price.
Recommendation: Back BOLSTER in Newbury 2.40
Clive Cox was has been in fantastic form this week, scoring with both of his runners at Yarmouth (5-2 and 9-4) and completing a five-timer thanks to a three-from-three haul here yesterday (22-1, 9-1 and 3-1) STAR ANTHEM is the only runner in the Group 2 Mill Reef Stakes to have run on actual soft or heavy going (based on race times not the official verdict), recording a good speed figure for a four-length romp at Bath in early May, and followed that with a solid two-length 28-1 eighth of 22 in the Coventry Stakes. His high draw (stall 9 of 10) is of some concern but there’s compensation in the price and any further rain will further boost his chances. Buy in the Spreadex 50-25-10 market or back him each-way in the fixed odds betting.
Recommendation: Back STAR ANTHEM in Newbury 3.15
