Simply backing all chase progeny of the sire Gentlewave would have found 30 winners from 152 bets (19.7% strike-rate) for a profit of £27.60 to £1 level stake at SP (expected winners = 21.21, A/E = 1.41). GETBAZOUTOFHERE appreciate the return to good ground when finally breaking her duck over course and distance last May and might be able to defy a 175-day absence in a weak contest.

BEACHBOROUGH GIRL shaped with promise on last month’s debut at Yarmouth, finishing an 80-1 fifth of nine, and, as a half-sister to four-time all-weather winner Notre Belle Bete, there’s hope in her pedigree that the switch of surface will suit. It’s always possible that we won’t see the best of her until handicapping but she’s worth a small each-way dabble at a big price (33-1 best at the time of writing).
