French maison Rabanne announced on Monday Gigi Hadid as the face of its new fragrance, ‘Million Gold For Her’.
Hadid, an influential supermodel, TV presenter and entrepreneur, with over 78 million followers on Instagram, represents individuality and empowerment, making her the perfect ambassador for Rabanne’s new fragrance.
“Gigi brings the spirit of our legacy. In her, I see similarities with Monsieur Rabanne’s iconic muses – from Jane Birkin to Jane Fonda as Barbarella. She also brings her own distinct personality that makes her the perfect embodiment of the modern Rabanne woman,” said Jerome Leloup, vice-president Rabanne.
Million Gold For Her comes in a bottle featuring the XL link of Rabanne’s signature jewelry and will be available in various sizes, including 30ml, 50ml, 90ml, and a 200ml refill, along with complementary products such as a Body Lotion and Deodorant Spray.
It launches with a campaign designed to inspire the next generation to embrace their own individuality. Created by Mert Alas and Manu Cossu, the campaign is set to the powerful anthem ‘Pure/Honey’ by Beyoncé, underscoring the theme of female empowerment and success.
In the campaign, Hadid is featured in a golden Rabanne dress encrusted with Swarovski crystals. She moves confidently, owning the spotlight and embodying the essence of Rabanne’s bold, rebellious spirit.
“Million Gold for her reminds me of how Rabanne feels as a Maison. It´s powerful and beautiful, with rose, lavender and a salty mineral musk undertone. I love the balance.
