Omnichannel fashion brand Quiz has relocated to just four units along at the South Mall in Derby to open a bigger, newly-designed store.
The 1,900 sq ft space, decorated with gold accents in line with Quiz’s recently modernised design, includes an open ceiling with a central raft featuring LED spotlights throughout the store, as well as a full-height glass shopfront and digital window screens to display its latest ranges. The relocation also comes with its original 10 staff.
The new Derby location means Quiz has 12 stores in the region and 65 standalone stores across the UK and Ireland.
Emma McCaffrey, Area Manager at Quiz, said the “new and elevated store [opens] just in time for our [highly anticipated] Christmas Party Season.”
The latest upgrade is part of the retailer’s battle to return to positive trading numbers after a comprehensive review of the business followed a spring of flat store sales.
It said the review has given the business “greater clarity on our target customer and updating our brand identity to re-align our Marketing and Buying and Merchandising activities”.
Last week, its departing chief financial officer Gerard Sweeney said he was “firmly backing” Quiz’s turnaround potential and that the “business will return to profitable growth”.
