Coming off a second consecutive loss this past Wednesday night, the Alabama Crimson Tide are set to return home Saturday for yet another challenging Top 25 SEC matchup, this time against the Kentucky Wildcats.
An opponent the Crimson Tide have already seen once before this season, Alabama and Kentucky previously played back on Jan. 18 in Lexington in a game that certainly lived up to the hype it garnered going in. A battle of two Top 10 teams, No. 4 Alabama at the time defeated then No. 8 Kentucky inside Rupp Arena by a final score of 102-97, in part due to two 20+ point performances from Grant Nelson and Mark Sears.
That game from Lexington was big then, and, well, this meeting in Tuscaloosa on Saturday is expected to be just as significant, with both Alabama and Kentucky having a ton to play for in terms of the SEC standings, as well as NCAA Tournament seeding.
Here are the latest betting odds for Alabama vs. Kentucky on Saturday, which are current as of Friday, Feb. 21.

Alabama Crimson Tide
Kentucky Wildcats
Alabama escaped Rupp Arena with a close victory back in January, and when making a prediction for this game as well, it’s hard to go against the Crimson Tide on their homecourt. Yes, Alabama has not performed as great over the last two games, but look for the Crimson Tide to turn things around Saturday night to pickup a big victory over the Wildcats.
Prediction: Alabama 87, Kentucky 80
Alabama vs. Kentucky will begin at 6 p.m. ET on Saturday, Feb. 22, with the game available to watch live on ESPN. The game will take place from Coleman Coliseum in Tuscaloosa, Alabama.
