Portsmouth FC superfan Maisie Bartlett dies, aged 105
He said: “She passed the day after Portsmouth beat Swansea 4-0, so I feel she died happy.”
Mousinho recorded a video message for Mr Bartlett to play for his mother at her surprise birthday party, which said: “A very, very happy 105th birthday, an amazing achievement.
“Many happy returns from myself, all of the staff, all of the players and everyone here at the football club.”
Mrs Bartlett was also sent a surprise video message from former Pompey manager and striker Guy Whittingham.
Mr Bartlett previously said his mother’s secret to living to such an old age had been that she was “stubborn and just gets on with it”.
