Hotel Chocolat has asked for permission to put up signage on unit 72 of the Barrhead Road building.
According to documents, the space is currently occupied by Heavenly Desserts.
But the chocolate retailer wants to take over the area, complete with an outdoor terrace, cafe and shop.

The firm also proposed to put up its branding in the outside of the building.
Glasgow City Council planning officials are reviewing the application and a decision is expected by Friday, March 14.
Hotel Chocolate has venues on Buchanan Street and in St Enoch and the Fort shopping centres.
The company, which opened its first cafe in North London, now has 126 cafés, restaurants, outlets, and factory stores across the world, including the UK, Japan and the Caribbean.
